Nationally, we have received the
Environmental Stewardship Award, operate at Pork Quality Assurance
Level III, and have received many other awards and honors for our
attention to environmental and animal well-being issues. Our 20 years
of cooperative participation in Kansas State University research allow us
first access to critical new technologies and management strategies.
The On-Farm Odor/Environmental Assistance Program
Assessment has been conducted at all of our facilities. It was noted in
the audit report, "The producer has a genuine desire to do things right
which results in a well designed, clean, and aesthetic facilities." The
audit also reported that "The staff is trained and good team work is
noted." One of our many strengths that the auditors noted was, "The
owner contracts with veterinarians and utilizes universities staff input to
make sound management decisions in all phases of the farms' production." |
